Peltier had his parole hearing last month, and supporters worldwide are anxiously awaiting an announcement. As the wheels of bureaucracy turns slowly, we still have the ability to call the White House and demand freedom for Leonard Peltier. Also, everyone has the opportunity to meet with their Congress person while they are on congressional recess and are back in their home state. We all need to do this now, so that if a denial is issued by the parole commission, we will have already began expressing our prairie fire of outrage to the White House demanding that Obama grant clemency for Peltier. This has to happen and our time is now.
