Unemployment Lifeline (UPDATE)

Unemployment LifeLine is a one-stop guide that links workers to the resources in their area: from unemployment offices to veterans' services to child care.

The figure is staggering. Unemployment at 10.2 percent.
Hardworking families are struggling to get by, and too often, they don't know where to turn for help. That's where the Unemployment LifeLine comes in: providing people the opportunity to talk to others and share support and lessons learned.

UPDATE:

Launched in 2009, the Unemployment LifeLine was a one-stop guide that linked unemployed workers to the resources in their area. It contained information on nearly 90,000 local resources the help the unemployed and the site helped tens of thousands of workers. However at this time the site, and its resource database, has closed.

If you need help with unemployment related issues, please check out any of these other resources.
